Recommended drilling and completion strategies such as well placement and spacing, lateral length, number of fracture stages and cluster spacing, vertical placement in target zone or staggering. Relied heavily on monitoring performance of offsetting analogs operated by ConocoPhillips, Marathon, and Pioneer. Identified and mitigated key technical risks. Analyzed interference tests such as production logging, fluid and proppant tracers, shut-in pressures, micro-seismic, and fracture hits to understand well performance and determine optimal well drilling spacing. Performed analytical RTA analysis (IHS Harmony™) and numerical 3D simulation modeling (CMG, Sensor) to quantify fracture network complexity and effectiveness by estimating fracture conductivity, half-length, and shale vs. fracture permeability. Utilized time superposition and normalized pressure plots to assess offsetting each other wells. Used probabilistic methods by integrating statistical distributions of independent geologic and engineering parameters to arrive at combined range of results using Monte Carlo and
multi-variable approaches. Developed reserve profile distributions and type curves adjusted for drilling project size.
